What was your inspiration to pursue a modeling career?
My inspiration was a friend who encouraged me to pursue modeling. I believe that any dreams or goals you have, you should go after it. Never let life, friends or fear stand in your way.
Who is your biggest role model?
My role models are my mother and David Harrison. (Jesus is my # 1 role model).
Where was your first photo shoot?
My first professional photoshoot was with a photographer by the name of Paul Buceta in Toronto. We shot in his studio. He currently does a lot of work for Playboy and American Curves magazines.
Who is your favorite photographer?
Paul Buceta.
Who is your favorite fashion designer?
Prada.
What are you favorite foods?
My favorite foods are Jerk Chicken, Rice and Peas, Dumplings and Plantain, Oxtails (Anything Jamaican).
Who are your favorite musical artists?
My favorite artist is Prince.
Do you have any advice for other young women who are thinking of pursuing a modeling career?
My advice to younger women who are interested in pursuing a modeling career is this: Never compromise yourself. You need to have a strong belief of self in this industry. Only do things that you are comfortable with and never love anyone else more than you love yourself.
What do you consider your best features and why?
My best features would be: My eyes and smile... because the eyes are the door to my soul. My smile lights up a room.
What are your greatest accomplishments?
Being a parent to my lovely daughter.
What are your career goals?
I currently work for Microsoft Canada as a Consultant and I have my own business as well (Consulting). My goal is to be successful in anything I have put my mind and heart into. Modeling is something I have a passion for; so ultimately I would like to excel in that area.
What qualities do you look for in an ideal mate?
My ideal mate is someone who has a strong sense of self, that is family-oriented, that is spiritual, ambitious (like me) and business-minded. Also a man that knows how to treat his lady and is not afraid to show love and affection.
Where is your ideal vacation spot?
My ideal vacation spot is the Bahamas. Been there 9 times.
